On this day is our schedule to teach in elementary school. Nia has specifically requested Ma'am Icell to use class hours in grade 5 obedient to introduce Indonesian culture to students. Since last night, Nia has been preparing materials related to what she will deliver to students. Nia has prepared PPT related to Batik, Indonesian Traditional Dance and Indonesian Traditional Games.

I helped Nia to explain to the students about Batik. And on that day we also used Batik clothes, as a direct example for grade 5 Obedient students. At first we had problems connecting Nia's laptop with a smart tv, until finally we borrowed a smart tv from the grade 5 Bravery. Batik is a ‘Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity’ that has been designated by UNESCO since 2009. We explain about what batik is, the types of batik and its meaning to students. Through Presidential Decree Number 33 of 2009, the government also set October 2 as National Batik Day in Indonesia.

After that we introduced traditional Indonesian dances to students. Because Indonesia consists of various tribes and cultures, Indonesia has a lot of traditional dances. We play videos about traditional Indonesian dance medleys from YouTube. After that, ask the students to dance together. They seemed very happy, and wanted to continue dancing.

| Introducing Indonesian Traditional Dance |
After that we introduced one of the traditional games from Indonesia, namely the game engklek (Hop Scotch). Nia chose this game because it is practical and does not require special equipment. We only need chalk and also stone as gaco. Gaco is a stone or object that we use as a marker when playing engklek. It turns out that this game is also played by the Philippines, but the name is Piko. The difference between these two is the shape of the block we draw. Students seem enthusiastic to start playing engklek. Not only are grade 5 obedient students enthusiastic, we also introduce Indonesian culture to grade 5 bravery and grade 6 students.
