DAY 14 - ACQUAINTANCE PARTY

 Acquaintance Party

Today we didn't come to elementary school because we were invited to come to an acquaintance party. This party is routinely held as a means to get to know students from each year and teachers at ISAT U. For this year, retro-themed acquaintance parties. Nia and I didn't bring too many outfits from Indonesia, but we were finally able to combine outfits so that they were close to the chosen theme. We have been preparing from Hostel ISAT U Dumangas since 7 a.m. But when they arrived at ISAT U BNC, they said that the acquaintance party began at 1 p.m. So we spent time touring campus while looking at the preparations for the party.

By noon we returned to the office to help Anjeneth and Jonna (our buddies) prepare themself. When we were ready, we went to the campus hall to join the acquaintance party. The event was opened by the MC, and we were also greeted by performances from ISAT U students. Many of them showed their talents such as dancing, singing and poetry reading. The event was very fun because it was interspersed with jokes from the MCs.

The event lasted until about 4 p.m. We took the time to take pictures at the photo booth that had been provided by the committee. After the MC closed the event, the students gathered in the hall to dance together. After finishing dancing, Nia and I had to go back to the hostel in Dumangas. Today was really fun.
