DAY 15 - COOKING CLASS

 Cooking Class

This weekend, Nia and I were invited to cook banana muffins together with Ma'am Armi and Sir Ryan. In the morning we were picked up by Sir Ryan and his family to leave for ISAT U BNC. Because we will cook in the food laboratory there.

When we got there, Ma’am Armi was already there. We immediately prepared to cook. The first thing to do is prepare all the materials and tools that will be used. Making your own banana muffins is easy. Does not require special foodstuffs. We use lab coats to protect our clothes from splashes when cooking later. Ma'am Armi said that before BTLED students practice making cakes, they must master how to make banana muffins first. Because banana muffins are a type of dish that is easy to make.

The ingredients needed are:

2 cups sifted all-purpose flour

1 ½ cups mashed (blended) banana (lakatan/saba)

½ cup cooking oil

1 cup brown sugar

  2. Add the sifted flour, baking powder and baking soda

  3. Add mashed banana and vanilla. Mix until well blended

  4. Fill muffin tins ¾ full
