On this Sunday, Nia and I were invited to go around Iloilo. Our main goal was to go to SM City mall to fix Nia's suitcase that had one wheel broken. We prepared in the morning because Ma'am Armi would pick us up at Dumangas Hostel. The weather on this day was a little cloudy, it was drizzling when we were going. Today we will go with Ma'am Armi's family.
Before going to SM city, we took the time to stop by ISAT U La Paz because I had to take the assessment form needed for this program from Ilham. After that we went to visit Central Philippines University (CPU). This place is a place to teach one daughter of ma'am Armi, Miss Marian. We took pictures at some nice spots, went around and visited the library. Although unfortunately we couldn't go upstairs, I was happy that we were able to see the artwork on display in the library lobby.

After that we went to SM City mall. After parking the car, we rushed directly to Mr. Quickie who was inside the mall. When she arrived there and explained the problem of the suitcase, the saleswoman there said that if you want to repair the wheels of the suitcase, it will cost more than the price of a new suitcase. After explaining this, Ma'am Armi insists on buying Nia a new suitcase. Nia told me if her suitcase couldn't be repaired then that's fine, even so we are very grateful that during our time here we were treated like our own children. Nia and I are so grateful to be surrounded by such kind and generous people
After Mr. Quickie, because it was noon, we went for lunch first. We went to Jollibee which is outside the mall because the restaurant inside the mall is full. After we ordered the food, we waited while making small talk. Not long after, Miss Armarie, one of Ma'am Armi's daughters, came and joined us. We chatted over lunch.

After Jollibee, we went around Iloilo City. We went and took a leisurely walk in Iloilo Esplanade Park. We also took pictures there. In this park there is a road that runs along the river. People will usually come for just a leisurely walk or exercise. Although the weather is hot, the trees on the side of the road make it feel shady. We took a lot of photos there.

After the Esplanade park, we went to the Festive Walk which is located not far from there. Here there is an apartment building in European style. I am very happy because I can look back on such architecture. We then walked to the K-Town area. Ma'am Armi said that at night it will look more beautiful because the colorful lights will be on, and it will be more crowded. In addition, we also took pictures in front of Casa de Emperador.

After that we got back in the car and went to SM City to find a new suitcase for Nia. Here Ma'am Armi also gave us a gift in the form of a beautiful tote bag with the words Iloilo City. This totebag will be a memento that we will not forget. Ma'am Armi also kindly gave me an Aquaflask bottle. I am very happy that this bottle can keep the drink cold for a long time. If in Indonesia this kind of bottle is expensive. Nia and I would like to thank Ma'am Armi, Sir Marianito, Miss Marian and Miss Armarie for taking us around Iloilo and giving us unforgettable gifts <3
